Ivetka’s Experience:

"My name is Ivetka Čorosová, and I graduated with a specialization in assistant cook and waiter services. After finishing school, I struggled to find employment anywhere. Everything changed when I enrolled in Profesia Lab and participated in a site visit to TESCO’s clothing department. Alongside coaches Ms. Dáška and Ms. Inga, an employee from TESCO, Ms. Danka, guided me throughout the experiece.Ms. Danka is exceptional; when something didn’t work out, she repeated the process two or three times until I understood it correctly. At TESCO, I learned how to code merchandise, unload and open boxes properly, and even operate a pallet jack.Profesia Lab provided me with the best experience I could have for my current work. I am no longer afraid to ask questions or seek assistance. After completing the internship, my contract was extended. I have now been working at TESCO for over a year, training new colleagues. I encourage them to ask questions and seek guidance, passing on the knowledge and confidence I gained through Profesia Lab."

Ivetka’s story highlights the transformative power of mentorship, practical experience, and supportive learning environments.
