The two-day event Alma Inclusive 2026 – Where Inclusion Drives Growth – builds on the tradition of community of practice networked around the Profesia Lab initiative. It aims to broaden the topic of employing people with diverse abilities into a wider social and economic context. It draws on the experience of a successful internship model for young people with disabilities and further develops the topic of inclusion in connection with active ageing, equal opportunities and other factors that influence access to employment. The workshop on the second day offers an opportunity to gain practical experience both for employers and for jobseekers. The conference will take place on Tuesday, 3 February, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Stará tržnica, Námestie SNP 25 in Bratislava.

The Profesia Lab model was first piloted in 2023 and subsequently revised in 2024 and 2025. The collaboration included employers, non-governmental organizations and Institute for vocational rehabilitation, schools, HR professionals, job seekers, and their caregivers.

Many parents report limited opportunities for growth, while their childless colleagues feel they carry an unfair share of the workload.
